My wife is a wonderful cook and there is no way that I can get her out of there once she gets started. She will make me everything under the sun if I asked her to and she can probably make me anything I could ever want. Although there is one thing that she is missing and it is a set of Ginsu knives. This set of knives would totally keep her in the kitchen for the rest of her life because they are so sharp and will never get dull. I can’t wait to give them to her she will be so excited and I can’t wait to taste the next meal she makes with them.

One great thing about getting her a new set of knives is the fact that she will be able to throw the old set away. They are old and dull and she can’t quite get a clean cut on the vegetables or meat all the time. I think that she will kindly like them and will use them all the time. I just hope that she doesn’t try and use the Ginsu knives on me because if she does then I will be in a lot of trouble.

I have a pretty big television, it is a 60″ plasma screen and it is probably one of the best sets I have ever owned but it has really been hard to find the right stand to fit my size television. I was thinking that maybe I should just go buy another smaller plasma that way I can find the right size tv shelves that will make enough room for me to fit correctly. Who wants to have this enormous television sitting on a small stand it would just look wrong and ridiculous.

There are many several things that you can do to your home to try and create more space but nothing does the trick like hanging your screen from the wall in the living room. It gives it somewhat of a modern look and will enhance the room you have available. Maybe it wasn’t so bad that I got the 60″ screen. It seems to be a favorite of all my guests that come over and my kids really enjoy watching cartoons on the weekends when they wake up.

So I was at a friends house the other day just watching the game and I stepped outside to get a breath of fresh air. Upon going to the backyard I noticed that his wife had several different decorations outside and one that really caught my attention was this bird in the distance standing above the ground. It was pink in color and for a second I thought that it was a pink flamingo. When I asked my friends wife what is was she laughed and told me that she bought a couple geeky beeks to display in her wonderful botanical garden.

I asked her what she used them for and she told me that she uses them to scare off any birds that try and eat her fruit and vegetables. I thought what a great idea, it is kind of like a scarecrow but without the twigs and pant legs. And then I thought that maybe shes was crazy but when I asked my wife if she wanted one she went nuts. Never in my wildest dreams did I think my wife would want a big pink bird for her beautiful garden.

Well this weekend we headed up to the wilderness to check out the city where you can find little trinkets that the whole family can enjoy. While doing this I noticed something kinda out of the ordinary and it caught me by bit of surprise. What is was is a tree ornament that you can plaster to the tree. They are called tree faces and what it is, is a face made out of wood that you can connect to any tree big or small. But preferably big because you want to show it off and have it look kind of mysterious.

But one thing that was interesting was that there were so many of them it looked like it was out of a page from Alice in Wonderland, what a wonderful movie but realistically there is no way any tree could have a face. But one thing that really caught my attention wast the fact that it looked so real, actually as if someone inside the tree was looking at you. So I went into the store and bought at least ten of the tree faces and gave them to each of my family members and Christmas gifts.

It’s about that time of year again and everyone is getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July. You know what that means, a lot of fireworks that everyone will enjoy. We really don’t know what it is about the fireworks but we know that it is exciting to watch. Maybe it is the fact that we remember the fact that we are a free country and independent from everyone else. But one thing that you need especially if you are having a party at home is 4th of July decorations to make your home feel festive and welcoming. Festive decorations is what the holiday is all about, a getting together that way we can all celebrate Independence Day.

Many families go on vacation during this time as sort of a get out of the house deal. But others would rather have family join together and celebrate such a wonderful occasion. When everybody gets together and lights those fireworks it is kind of an explosion and everyone knows how lovely it is when you can join around the backyard and look into the sky and see all the beautiful colors that are being showed in the air. So when it is your turn to host the next holiday be sure to stock up on all the decorations you can that way nobody can say you weren’t festive.

For those of you that love to garden you should seriously think about getting some garden furniture that you will be able to relax on and enjoy the beautiful flowers that are blooming. Before all you did in the garden was get on your knees and get dirty. But now after you get done you will be able to get comfortable and watch the hummingbirds as they fly by your feeder. Most people find that sitting in their garden can be a little zinful and allow one to free their mind.
