Have a Casino Party for a Fundraiser

Filed under: Music — info @ 5:09 pm

There are some great ways to make money for your organization but none better than having a poker Tournament.  Texas Hold’em has become hugely popular over the past five years and raising money while playing has never been easier.

VegasStyleParty.com a casino party company that will provide you with everything you need to run your fund raiser.  They have professional poker tables the same kind you see in the Las Vegas casino, professional dealers and casino chips with the correct denominations on them.  The even give each event a tournament director that runs the show calling out blinds and moving players around as others get busted out.

The most common buy-in is around $75.00 per person and you can easily see how much money you can raise with 10 people per table and 7-10 tables going.  If your organization hasn’t used a casino party company look into it now.  If you are in the Palm Desert, Palm Springs or Redlands areas give VegasStyleParty.com a call.  The event I was at with them was first class all the way.

There are many different forms of gold, and one reason why people collect gold is because of the rise in value it creates each year and even every day. Many families purchase gold to save for their future relatives that way they can have a monetary value worth a greater value than it was originally. Gold why is a great place to find out information about all the different types of gold, anything ranging from gold coins to gold bullion. One thing you must know is that the greater the weight the higher the value.

Several Americans today are purchasing gold at an enormous rate. And we ask why? Well the answer is simple. They are investing their money into a product that increases in value everyday unlike property or personal belongings. Gold stocks is a great way to go also if you don’t want to carry around all that gold, you still get the same value for your dollar, you are just investing you money in a different way. California Criminal Defense Was On My Side

Filed under: Music, Law — info @ 1:40 pm

One of the worst experiences in my life was when I had the telephone ring early in the morning with a police detective on the other end telling me that my 17 year old son had just been arrested.  I just couldn’t believe that my son was being accused of the actions that the police were claiming.  I just didn’t believe it and after I had an opportunity to talk to my son I knew that he had been falsely accused.  This was a serious offense he was being accused of and I knew that I was going to take the necessary actions to get his name cleared.  A friend of mine suggested that I contact California Criminal Defense Attorneys | Los Angeles Criminal and DUI Lawyers.  It ended up being the best choice I could have made.

When I first talked to them they explained to me that many people get falsely accused of crimes and they would take the necessary actions concerning my underage son.  They put us in contact with the best juvenile crime attorneys and gave us the attention we needed and deserved.  The proceedings quickly proved that my son was innocent of the crime he was being convicted of and his name was eventually cleared.  I really could have not gone through this experience without the help from this criminal defense team.

Get Hot New Ringtones

Filed under: Music — info @ 11:07 pm

The other day I got a new Cingular phone and I really like it but then only thing that it is missing is some really cool ringtones. One of my favorite rap artists is Young Jeezy, his lyrics are so fresh and clean they knock your socks off. So now I want some ringtones to go along with my phone and I found a couple of sites on the Internet but really couldn’t find anywhere that would get my what I wanted. But at last I found a really good ringtones that satisfied me.

The very next day I was having all my co-workers hit me up on my brand new cell phone and all of Young Jeezy’s hits were blowing the office up. I think that ringtones are great because they provide everyone with a wireless carrier to have their own personalized phone and ringers. This is very hot and will continue to download and get all the hottest ringers available. You should check them out too especially if you are into music and love your cell phone.

“Lock the Cashbox”

Filed under: Music — info @ 5:45 pm

Sitting down the other day and this commercial came on it made me laugh so hard!! You know everyone has heard the song “rock the casbah” by The Clash and this just made sense because you don’t really know what they are saying unless you know the band or the lyrics.

If you haven’t seen the commercial and you are a die hard Clash fanatic you will have to sit down and watch a couple hours of television. If that’s to hard for you then view the new Cingular commerical “Stop the cat box”, “the sheep don’t like it”!

I also got great free legal advice from a friend about a trademark issue.  Trademark issues are not always black or white and often you need legal help with these things.

iPod- the modern day game boy

Filed under: Music — info @ 5:14 am

When Apple created their life saving invention they not only revolutionized how we listen to music but how we watch it as well. Not only can you strap it to your hip and listen to thousands of songs but also you can watch music videos on your iPod Video instead of on the television screen. With its simplicity comes its integrity it has created quite a stir amongst the younger generation and blossomed as the modern day game boy.

We all know when the game boy came to us we were so astonished at what it could do, everyone and their mother was running to the stores to get one themselves. Although the price is a bit heftier it claims its title as being one of the greatest modern day inventions. It probably will have to do with the dispersal of Cd’s, how those turned away the tape player and the Eight Track.

The iPod nano is also a great tool if you are person who likes to work out and loves to listen to music at the same time. It’s easy all you have to do is strap it to your waist and you can run for hours. New to the iPod is the Nike + iPod where it gives the runner the capabilities of having music at their fingertips while running a mile or two.

You can purchase your music from iTunes where that carry the largest database of music available. It will provide you with up to date label covers as well as a description of the artist and song title. So get down to your local iPod dealer and be sure to get your favorite song downloaded today!

A Josh Turner Holiday

Filed under: Music — info @ 2:15 am

OK… so I’ve been meaning to blog about this for a while now. People Magazine is starting to bug me and I guess I’m not going to read it anymore.

About a month ago there was an article about Josh Turner and his wife Jennifer and all it talked about was how they like to decorate and what there favorite holiday traditions are. (puke) I felt like I was reading a crappy rag and not People Magazine.

“I have been so blessed in my career and my life,” the South Carolina native says on his site. “It means so much to me that my family is here to celebrate this special occasion with me.?

Anyway… I enjoy his music he has a couple of songs that are on the charts right now but I cold care less about what kind of tree he likes. Those things are more suitable for fan sites and whatnot. Well… it’s time for me to head over to iTunes and download a song or two of his while I’m thinking about it.
