Take away dead hair

Filed under: Animals — info @ 8:20 pm

Did you know that most dogs have an undercoat of hair that consists of dead or almost dead hair that prevents them from showing their true shine. Well with one nifty device you can get all that loose hair that you don’t want on your floor with the shed ender. It is a great tool that every pet owner should have especially if they have a hard time cleaning up all the hair that their pet sheds throughout the summer. Most people with breathing problems don’t have pets and are allergic to them but if they had this device they would probably get away with it.

No more messy carpet full of hair all you have to do is sweep it across their coat and you wont have to deal with a shedding dog anymore. The shed ender gets all the loose hair in their undercoat and cuts it away. Now that there is no more dead hair they will look as if they just got back from the groomers. if you own a dog or large animal you should definitely get you one of these because it works wonders.

Brushing the dog

Filed under: Animals — info @ 8:16 pm

One thing that both my kids really love to do is play with both of the dogs what we have. One is a golden retriever and the other is a St. Bernard. They are both wonderful dogs but they have a hard time being together and not rough housing. It is almost some sort competition between the two and it is a little bit funny. The other day I was getting out the pet brushes when they both came running towards me fighting to go first as it seemed. They were both jumping up and down so I asked one my girls to hold the other dog down while I brushed the others coat.

It was such a task but it was really fun at the same time, you can’t beat having a blast with your dogs and children. It is great watching them all grow up so quickly and get along with each other as well. I think that we have two of the best dogs ever because they actually come to you when they need to be brushed unlike most animals that run away from any grooming. I guess that I am just blessed to have such wonderful dogs and such a caring family.

A Dog named Louie Vuitton!

Filed under: Animals — info @ 4:14 am

So I know someone that has a dog and he is blind, he is an Austrailian Shepherd and he looks like a Louis Vuitton purse. What a silly description for a dog but it is so true that it hurts to laugh. Although he may look very handicapped he is probably one of the smartest dogs I know. A friend walked into the house the other day and asked, “is this a real dog” because he was laying down on the tile floor and she almost stepped on the poor thing. We answered “why”, and she looked astonished as if we were lying. We said, “he’s blind and he likes to lay on the tile”. She then replied, “Usually dogs bark when someone comes in the door” and quickly stammered “he knows your here he can smell you!

This dog is so smart that when he enters a new room for the first time he scopes it out, he paces from wall to wall very slowly that way if he runs into anything it won’t hurt as bad. In his mind we think he keeps a detailed script of every room he’s ever been into, because everyday that goes by he knows the place better and better. All you really have to do is give him 24 hours and he’ll walk you around the room himself if you ask nicely. :)

From a little brown fur ball of mud to a beautiful Louie Vuitton, this self-proclaimed guide dog will astonish your mind just give him a chance and he will steal your heart. If you ever get a chance to own one of these dogs and give such a caring attitude to an animal in need, you will be blessed with a lifetime of joy.
