We Buy Homes!!!

Filed under: Real Estate — info @ 8:49 pm

If you are an individual who is looking to sell you home and you don’t know how to do it then you should probably find someone who can lend you a helping hand. Doing it alone can be very stressful and may take a long time because it can be a process. Many home owners are trying to sell their home quick and this can be made possible with cash home buyers. Sometimes they have signs out that say “we buy houses” and if you see this then locate that person!!!

A cash home buyer will help you in you time of need because most of the time they will buy your home from you with cash but may be under the asking price you are looking for. But if you need the money now and don’t have the time to list your property and then take the time to sell it then a cash home buyer is what you need.

Usually a person that is interested in buying redlands homes with cash is looking for a fixer upper. They will sometimes come at you and say we will give you cash for house. If this opportunity passes you buy then you should find a local cash home buyer that will help you out. Check out the business and see what it has to offer you.

Why Zillow.com Should buy Obares.com

Filed under: Real Estate — info @ 2:29 pm

I was reading how Zillow.com wanted to take over the FSBO (for sale by owner) market place but I think they will have a hard time doing so and here are my reasons why:

1) Obares.com beat them to the market place and is getting more search engine traffic. Sure Zillow.com covers a bunch of cities but look what the guys at Obares.com did, they have exposure in over 30,000 USA cities.

2) Do a search for any city and FSBO and you will see Obares.com is dominating.

3) I read in one article that Obares.com had 900,000+ visitors last month. That might not sound like a ton of traffic but they currently aren’t advertising anywhere.

4) To become a major leader in the real estate market Zillow.com will need to acquire web properties that will complement there business.

The guys at Zillow.com can learn from the crew at Obares.com. I’m not sure if Obares.com is looking for a buyer but in any case Zillow.com would benefit from taking them over. If you take the search engine traffic and technology Obares.com has and combined it with the marketing dollars Zillow.com would come out a winner.

“Lock the Cashbox”

Filed under: Music — info @ 5:45 pm

Sitting down the other day and this commercial came on it made me laugh so hard!! You know everyone has heard the song “rock the casbah” by The Clash and this just made sense because you don’t really know what they are saying unless you know the band or the lyrics.

If you haven’t seen the commercial and you are a die hard Clash fanatic you will have to sit down and watch a couple hours of television. If that’s to hard for you then view the new Cingular commerical “Stop the cat box”, “the sheep don’t like it”!

I also got great free legal advice from a friend about a trademark issue.  Trademark issues are not always black or white and often you need legal help with these things.

iPod- the modern day game boy

Filed under: Music — info @ 5:14 am

When Apple created their life saving invention they not only revolutionized how we listen to music but how we watch it as well. Not only can you strap it to your hip and listen to thousands of songs but also you can watch music videos on your iPod Video instead of on the television screen. With its simplicity comes its integrity it has created quite a stir amongst the younger generation and blossomed as the modern day game boy.

We all know when the game boy came to us we were so astonished at what it could do, everyone and their mother was running to the stores to get one themselves. Although the price is a bit heftier it claims its title as being one of the greatest modern day inventions. It probably will have to do with the dispersal of Cd’s, how those turned away the tape player and the Eight Track.

The iPod nano is also a great tool if you are person who likes to work out and loves to listen to music at the same time. It’s easy all you have to do is strap it to your waist and you can run for hours. New to the iPod is the Nike + iPod where it gives the runner the capabilities of having music at their fingertips while running a mile or two.

You can purchase your music from iTunes where that carry the largest database of music available. It will provide you with up to date label covers as well as a description of the artist and song title. So get down to your local iPod dealer and be sure to get your favorite song downloaded today!

A Dog named Louie Vuitton!

Filed under: Animals — info @ 4:14 am

So I know someone that has a dog and he is blind, he is an Austrailian Shepherd and he looks like a Louis Vuitton purse. What a silly description for a dog but it is so true that it hurts to laugh. Although he may look very handicapped he is probably one of the smartest dogs I know. A friend walked into the house the other day and asked, “is this a real dog” because he was laying down on the tile floor and she almost stepped on the poor thing. We answered “why”, and she looked astonished as if we were lying. We said, “he’s blind and he likes to lay on the tile”. She then replied, “Usually dogs bark when someone comes in the door” and quickly stammered “he knows your here he can smell you!

This dog is so smart that when he enters a new room for the first time he scopes it out, he paces from wall to wall very slowly that way if he runs into anything it won’t hurt as bad. In his mind we think he keeps a detailed script of every room he’s ever been into, because everyday that goes by he knows the place better and better. All you really have to do is give him 24 hours and he’ll walk you around the room himself if you ask nicely. :)

From a little brown fur ball of mud to a beautiful Louie Vuitton, this self-proclaimed guide dog will astonish your mind just give him a chance and he will steal your heart. If you ever get a chance to own one of these dogs and give such a caring attitude to an animal in need, you will be blessed with a lifetime of joy.

“What a great day for Golf”

Filed under: Sports — info @ 3:48 am

So we were on our way to the “course” which on some days is another place. The weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky that could ruin our day. The sun was warm with just a slight breeze to our backs. “What a great day for golf” he murmured. Yea this was going to be one for the record books I thought, just from a night filled with pleasure and pain. Golf is such a great way to clear your head although there may be some interruptions that may alter your shot.

As we proceeded to grab our balls and pull out the clubs there was just a slight hiccup, something that would surface later on in the day. Without a doubt in my mind I knew it would be fun, all the magic in the air and the warmth from the sun. I said to him “when was the last time we played golf”, and he replied “the day before Christmas” don’t you remember that kid!

So as our day proceeded to start out rough, we both double bogeyed #1, 3 over by the second, and there was a glimmer of hope with a pair of pars on the third hole. And with a birdie at #7 I now found myself six over making the turn at #9. By then he had fallen to around ten over and I was looking at a consecutive par/birdie streak that would last until #16. By then my stomach has digested the Wal-Mart Subway sandwich and I was getting dehydrated. The bathroom was a couple holes away and we didn’t want to just pee in a bush, so we decided that we should wait. So that means my game started to fall off and my score soared to extremes, but with a par save at #17 I found myself shooting just a round of 87.

This may seem good to you but to me it’s just a note to self that I could do better. After all I do come from an athletic past and golfing since I could pick up a club. But through the years I always seem to step up my game, and maybe one of these days I will be able to beat my mentor. But until then I better just stick to my day job, because we all know I’m better at that.

A Josh Turner Holiday

Filed under: Music — info @ 2:15 am

OK… so I’ve been meaning to blog about this for a while now. People Magazine is starting to bug me and I guess I’m not going to read it anymore.

About a month ago there was an article about Josh Turner and his wife Jennifer and all it talked about was how they like to decorate and what there favorite holiday traditions are. (puke) I felt like I was reading a crappy rag and not People Magazine.

“I have been so blessed in my career and my life,” the South Carolina native says on his site. “It means so much to me that my family is here to celebrate this special occasion with me.?

Anyway… I enjoy his music he has a couple of songs that are on the charts right now but I cold care less about what kind of tree he likes. Those things are more suitable for fan sites and whatnot. Well… it’s time for me to head over to iTunes and download a song or two of his while I’m thinking about it.
